Orientation figure for employees — simplified tax model.

Dutch payslips deduct payroll tax (loonheffing), social premiums, and sometimes pension.

This tool uses a simplified effective rate so you can see an approximate net amount per month.

For exact figures, use your employer payslip or Belastingdienst tools.

Estimate only — not an official government calculation. Always verify with toeslagen.nl, Belastingdienst, or SVB.

How MoneyScan calculates

  1. Enter gross monthly pay, age, and options (tax credit, holiday pay).
  2. We use a simplified effective rate (MVP), not full payroll tables.
  3. Shows net monthly pay as an orientation figure.
Why can this differ? Real payslips include pension, employer rules, and annual payroll tables.
